heated mirror ?

Hi all.
i replaced the mirror glass on the 240 power/heated mirrors i have and i dont remember where the two wires go that hook up to the glass?
im thinking one blue wire and one black wire can be hooked up either way as it would just complete a circuit?
its not listed in bentleys. and cant find answer in the haynes 740/760 manual.
