85 740 turbo won't start, VOLVO gods pls help!!!! 700 1985

I am still trying to sort out my starting issue 85 740 turbo wagon (since last Saturday)I have spent hours on the FAQ but so far it hasn't helped. I've been patient but it's getting to be a bit much. Here's what happens...
Turn on ignition;all good, start cranking and I get a bunch of lights on the instrument panel lighting up including the turn signals. Sometimes the car will fire but won't start. The tach indicates rpm when cranking but the fuel gauge pins to full at the same time. So far I have removed the in tank and main pumps and bench tested them and they both pump like crazy. I have tested the terminal in the hatch for the in tank pump and it's getting 12volts, the same for the main. I have removed the IAC and cleaned it and also the AMM. I have checked for spark and it's great. I tested the injector connections and noticed that both terminals go 12volt(+) when the motor is cranking (weird) shouldn't I be getting negative on one side? hmmm. I have rebuilt the harness all exept for the harnesss going into the firewall for the ECU. The car ran fantastic, passed aircare and had great power, I'm stumped! Anything else I can check or test guys? Please help! I love my wagon but It's been tough love lately!
Thanks
Ray
