My Fuel Pump Fuse is Very Hot ? 200 1980

Hi All,

The fuel pump fuse on my 80 242 is getting very hot.
So hot I think it could burn my finger.

I've chaged out the tank pump and gone through 3 main pumps in the last two years.
Now the pump is cutting out inermitantly for less than a second at a time.

I've cleaned the fuse contacts and changed out the red fuse.

Strange thing is I have 12.5 volts on the front contact but also have .5 (1/2 volt) showing to the rear contact when the fuse is out.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Dale
