Torque Converter Lockup? 900 1992

1992 960 Sedan. Just found the site. Gotta love you guys/gals. Remind me to replace my timing belt later this year. Anyhow I have a problem when driving long distances and coming to a stop. Feels like I need to "push the clutch in", except that I have an auto tranny. The rpm's drop and want to stop the engine. Everything I know says the torque converter is not disnegaging. I have little to no records on the car. Fluid level is fine. Just starting to work on Volvos. Hate the Torx bits, I am slowly replacing ALL of them, pick a part. So is there an electrical torque converter lock up on this beast? Would replacing the filter/fluid help if the converter is going bad? Please allow me to apologize in advance. I have 4 brothers, we had 2 cars, both Vegas, and I am a certified Vega mechanic. So you can tell I'm good at replacing engines, trannys, and lots of bondo. (lol) Any help would be appreciated.
