Engine revs up (slightly) and down at stops 200 1993

1993 245: 188k miles

When I'm at a traffic light, the engine doesn't stay at a steady idle. Instead, the motor sorta revs up a small bit and then back down. It does this about every traffic light. What could it be?

Also...another thing happened: The CEL came on about two months ago and it was the faulty engine coolant temperature sensor code. I reset the light and the light came back on the next time I drove the car. I purchased another coolant sensor and replaced the old one. (About $35 - $40...under the #3 intake area). The CEL stayed out for about a month...but the other day it came back on again! What could it be?
