Timing Belt skipped a tooth? 945T

Just changed my timing belt on my 91 945T. How can I tell if I missed a tooth on my timing belt install. Car idles perfect. Starts perfect. But when I accelerate, the engine would rev to 3K rpm but from 3K onwards, it just does not want to rev fast (like there is not much power). It will rev to redline.

Say I do not want to pull the timing covers to check the timing marks, is there anyway to diagnose if the belt skipped a tooth.

If I skipped a too what can I expect to feel??
