windshield trim - glue? tape? chewing gum??? 200

hey all brickers,

the windshield trim off my 90 240 is starting to peel off. i've tried snapping it back on but the clips on the bottom passenger and driver side just unclip when i hit the highway.

checked with my local glass repair - on advice from my local indie, and they want $165 to reinstall new clips because they have to remove the shield, or i could shell out $350 for the new moulding-on 240 shield.

anyone know of a good way to stick the trim on? is 2way tape enough or can anyone recommend a good glue to use for this?

thanks in advance

martin
