Alternator wires for '83 245. Which goes where? Help? 200 1983

Okay. I am finally ready to hook up the alternator for my daughter's '83 245 and the wires are a heavy red wire that seems to be coming from the starter, a heavy blue wire that seems to be fixed to the engine as a ground, and a small red wire with female end for a blade connector. This alternator (rebuilt 70 amp) has three wiring locations: a bigger bolt terminal(B+), a smaller bolt terminal (D+), and another terminal that looks like a ground bolt that also serves as a housing bolt for the alternator. My guess is the heavy red wire goes on the larger terminal, the little red wire on the smaller terminal, and the blue colored heavy wire on the housing bolt terminal as a ground. Is this correct? The schematic is a bit confusing on this and the colors are off. There is no orange wire anywhere I can see. Help?
