Crutchfield wiring 'diagram' and my '83 245 rebuild. Which wire goes where? 200 1983

Just got a nice stereo head for my daughter's '83 245 and 4 cheap Blaupunkt speakers from Crutchfield. This car has no amp. I like Crutchfield, but their wiring diagram just showed the harness Receiver Wiring Adaptor. It did not show where the wires attached specifically and how long the wires should be or what guage. I did get directions on how to install the head and it also had speaker templates for the doors and rear spots. But no real diagram. Where does the Yellow-12 Volts Constant Power wire connect exactly and where does the Red-12 Volts switched power connect to exactly. I need specifics please. Just assume I am a dummy and spell it out. I want to do this right the first time so I don't blow anything up, like a new stereo. Thanks. John
