So I've been going over this "new" 92 244 I got.

It runs and drives, though desperately needing struts and other front end work. It has an electric fan and a bizarre stereo, both installed by terrorists. There was 3" of bare wire coming straight off the battery + post to run the electric fan. Which is switched not by the ignition, not by a temp switch, but by what appears to be a US automobile push-pull headlight switch screwed into one of the kickpanels under the dash. !!!!!!!! wtfo!!!!!!!!

Yeah anyway, I check out the AMM, and immediately I see it's got something weird. This is an early 92 car, and it's got an AMM like an 850. It's got a plug with a bellows type rubber boot, and screw-in AMM guts with big Torx head screws on the side of the AMM. It's not your normal LH2.4 setup.

The number on the AMM ends in 001. The terrorists have been here too- the wire retaining clip on the plug is gone, and instead some baling wire is wrapped around the AMM and the harness connector about 50 times to keep it plugged in. Hmm.

Any ideas? I'll post a pic once I get out of work, if needed. This car does NOT have EGR, and it is a 5-speed. Whatever it is, this seems to work fine, as the car has plenty of power, good acceleration, strong idle, etc.

I guess I've got a little learning to do about the last of the 240s.
