Silver Bullet doesn't want to stop after new rear brakes? 200 1989

Hi,

I replaced the rear brake pads and rotors, was going to get 2 new rotors but would of had to wait 2 days, took the bad rotor off, replaced it with a good one from my donor car. Think that one is good. I bleed the brakes, did it in the order it explained in the manual, only thing different is on the front drivers side, the calliper only had 2 bleeders instead of the three, so I don't know if thats how I screwed up the bleeding process.

I bleed the brakes with the car off, by the last one we bleed they seemed pretty hard. Put the tires on, turned car on they were pretty spongy. Went up the road 1 mile, kept testing brakes, got even worse. When we parked the Silver Bullet it seemed to have the same amount of fluid as before.

I did the test of the vacuum deal, where it says to pump brake 10 times then turn key and pedal should go down further and you should here it when it pumps.

My friend who is mechanical but not a volvo nut says I should bleed it with the car running, I didn't see this in the manual, and thought I'd get some help from you guys before i try this.
