seat rebuild 200 1986

My brick's driver's seat is completely shot. I have priced out the replacement parts and I think that they are completely overpriced. My local junkyard (i have been told) has a few seats that are in pretty good condition but are blue...mine are tan...well my seat cover is fine, it is just a little dirty, no tears no major stains or anything...can i simply pick up one of the blue seats, remove it's cover and replace it with my cover that has been laundered? also my headrest is flopping around loose...what is the proper fix for this?
