I checked your profile and see you're in Portland, OR. There are two great mechanics for old Volvos near you -- Cameron Lovre and Shayne Green, both within a few blocks of one another in SE PDX. Do yourself a big favor and contact them:

They're buddies and sometimes collaborate or trade off jobs if one is busy and the other isn't. Doesn't really matter which one you contact first.
