The Bluecar 'nag' online again 200 1980

Hello all volvo freaks, dear sirs and madames,

Well, I am not blaming any of you - but you got me in this mess.

Actually, you didn't, because I had the Blue volvo 244 1980 B19A engine, before I found this forum.

But... you did recommend this make (volvo) and for some reason, you are all in love with this car. I would be too, except she is a high maintenance thing, she just puts her hand in my pocket and takes out all the cash for gasoline.

She is also very old.

Can you speak in one voice, and recommend a simple and most fuel efficient, easy to work on volvo which I can buy (as a first car). It has to be around 1990 ol older. (It cannot be an interference engine - so the 1987 244 which I found for 1000$ is out).

Please remember that I am limited (I do not own Ikea). You can say that I am a struggling artist (except I do not do art anymore, except martial arts (aikido -www.centeraikido.com).

You can say that I am looking for reliability and relative economy and safety.

I am looking for my next volvo.

Please advize,

Gadi
