Engine Service light button location 200 1990

Hi jwalker,

I can't recall whether our '90 has the button to push in the lower right part of the cluster's window, like our '91, or not. It should, because the reset otherwise will require removing the SRS knee bolster to reach up and release the lever.

I have a recent photo of our '89's reset lever - it is the black plastic protrusion from the upper left in the first photo here odo gear replacement

If yours is the button on the front, you need a long thin tool or paper clip to push it about 1/2" in to release the reset. If yours is behind, you just need to get access to the back of the cluster and move the lever against its spring tension to release it. Or that is how it is supposed to work. I think most of them are disabled by this time.
