Smith tach install 120-130

My beloved '67 122s is nearing completion of this phase of the resto-mod. I was given an original Volvo Smith dash tach. I pulled it out of the box tonight and the wiring confuses me. There seem to be more wires than I need. The light, power and ground are obvious. Where do the 2 thick white wires go? Please don't say + and - on the coil...I'm running a Ford EDIS ignition system and have a single tach signal output...No coil, as such, on this puppy...

As well...do all 122's come with the hole already in the dash? I was poking around underneath the dash and was surprised to find a hole in the underside of the dash that is covered by the upholstery on top...

Thanks,

Dale
