Reviewed the FAQ's - still cannot find the problem - hard start

Shooting from the hip I would say the problem is fuel related as opposed to spark. Sounds like just enough fuel for a quick run up but then dies due to starvation.

What happens when you spray a little starting fluid into the throttle body (butterfly open) and then try to start it once it refuses to start normally?

Have you verified spark when in a no start situation?

You haven't mentioned fuel pump relay. They are always suspect in a situation like yours.
