It could be, but usually the driver's door is the most often operated and first to have the wires fail.

But I think you still have pitted contacts in your switches. Even for the remote door switches to operate, the circuit includes contacts in the driver's door switches. Most problems are resolved by disassembling the driver's door switch module, then disassembling each switch, cleaning, polishing, and regreasing.
