New to the 6 cylinders. Where are spark plugs? 900

Just bought a 96 964 with 137K on it. I've been told the spark plugs are different from what I'm used to on the B230's. On the driver's side of the engine, under a long aluminum rail, I see yellow/orange things with a wire harness attached to each one. Are these the plugs? I'm guessing they are, since they appear to screw into the top of the engine.

If they are the plugs, it looks like to remove them I need to remove the aluminum guard, disconnect the wiring harnesses, then unscrew. Does this sound right?
