Electrical problem caused car to die 200 1993

Good morning, Bricksters! Last night, on the way home from the airport (about midnight) The dash warning lights all came on 'dully' and the ABS and SRS light flickered on. The temp/gas guage were about 1/4 to normal range. Then the car started to cut out and completely died. No lights, no emergency flashers, but the dome light still worked (odd, isn't it?) Anyway, is it the alternator/regulator or a short do you think? The last time I drove on a bad alternator (in a different car), it drained the battery so completely the dome light wouldn't light
before it died. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
