Stop me before I kill again! 700 1990

Okay, I'm exaggerating a little.

I have a '90 760 Turbo, 180K. Had a vibration thru the steering wheel at all speeds, worse at freeway speeds. Intermittent I might add. It would be fine one minute, shake the next. Same road, same everything. ???

Finally determined a tire or tires were out of round or otherwise defective. Ditched the crappy Dunlops, bought a new set of Goodyear Assurance(s).

Intermittent vibration still there at 60mph+, not as bad as before but still there. Had the tires rebalanced, same thing. Drives great at speeds below 60.

Front suspension and steering has been inspected by two Volvo shops, clean bill of health. Strut rod bushings are new.

Any ideas, anyone? I'm really at the end of my rope. The car is history if I can't solve this.
