wheel fitment : repost to seek a weekday response thats more definitive 900 1992

I have a question about wheel fitment. My daughter has a new to her '92 940. Her old car is a '90 740. Can I swap the steel wheels with nearly brand new tires onto the 940? The 940 has the ABS unit under the hood and the 740 does not. I did check the faq where swapping any 700/900 wheel up to '95 to a '91 740 would work ok but there was nothing mentioned about swapping an earlier 740 rim up to a later 940. Any help appreciated.

btw. this 940 GL is a beauty. Black on black, elec sunroof, cold a/c, runs well , one owner and low miles for the year: 150k.
