A/C 'chirps' on 91 240 200

So when I run the A/C it sounds as if the blower motor is "chirping" but you turn the a/c off and let it run on regular air and the "chirping" fades away, so i don't think its my blower motor. Is this typical on a '91? (First summer I have had to run the A/C, and its the switch button a/c not the dial a/c.)
thanks.
