O2 sensor?

Hey everybody -

I am running out of things to try, so I was wondering if a bad O2 sensor could possibly cause these symptoms. Obviously my car is running rich, but could a bad O2 sensor cause it to bog down under power? I realize a rich mixture is not particularily what an engine would love running on but my car has absolutely no power above 4000 rpms. Just curious.

thanks in advance

brant
