I have resoldered many of these. But after you solder the wire back on it just brakes again next to the solder. A glob of epoxy over the solder joint and covering the first milimeter of the stranded wire helps the repair last a little longer. The curent Bosch rebuilds are not very good.

I just ordered a Valio alternator from Rotem at Alleuro. They last better.
