Daytime Running Lights - PV 444-544

Hello All
I did a quick search on daytime running lights and didn't find anything, so here goes.

Ive kind of gotten used to having the lights always in the on position in my everyday car (2000 Saab 9-5) and thought it might be fairly easy to get my Duett configured the same way. They shut off with the ignition.

Is there any reason that the power to the headlights couldn't be routed thru the ignition key, rather than straight from the battery.

Should there be any objections to this change?

Thanks
Bob
