I use easy outs with mixed results. I've got a great set of 4-fluted MAC Tools extractors that have served me well for years- but they don't get everything. Other brands are hit and miss.

I like left handed drill bits; Craftsman sells some called Bolt-Out that look good- basically a 2-fluted reverse drill bit, but with a solid body more like a milling bit. If they grab, they'll hopefully spin the bolt out; if they don't they'll cut it out.

Even with these things, it's likely to wind up with a screwed-up hole. I'd be worried about driving it if the bolt does not thread in almost perfectly once it's removed.

The easiest thing in terms of the number of pieces to remove is probably to unbolt a complete strut assembly from a junk. 3 nuts at the top, one tie rod end, 3 ball joint bolts, brake lines. With luck, the rotor and caliper can be saved or will be good on the junkyard part.
