Radio stays on, accessory power 12 volts 200

1984 240GL Wagon, manual.

Hi Everybody,

A half a year ago my radio began to stay on or turn itself on after the car was turned off if I did not remove the removeable face plate from my Panasonic stereo. Today I checked the wiring at the Universal connector leading from the wiring harness and found the accessory "black" wire to be at 12 volts with the key out of the ignition. This should be 0 volts.

In the Green book, under the upto 1983 schematics, I didn't see mention of a relay between that connector and the fuse strip.

Can anybody give me some tips or techniques if you have encountered a similar problem. Thanks, Wynn
