loose bolt on the exhaust manifold where it botls to the header pipe -92 240 wagon 200

hello all

yesterday i whined about a broken horn asking for help.
thanks, i now have the info to fix this without exploding my airbag in my face

and

here i am whining about something else!

while working on the horn with engine running i noticed an exhaust sound which should not be there.

upon closer examination with a flashlight i notice the bolt (closest to the alternator) that connects the exhaust manifold to the header pipe is not secure and OUT a half an inch.

the firewall side bolt is tight and secure.

clearly this ain't a good sign.

do i remove the heat shielding to get to this loose bolt?

any suggestions on the best way to resolve this before it gets worse?

thanks all
