high compression readings? 200

I did a compression test on a 245 I'm looking to buy in the next couple days. The guage read 120 and then on the very last part of cranking the engine the guage jumps to 150 aprox. (Crank 5 times, went 8 and still the same) It did this on cylinders 1 and 3 with cylinder 2 being in the 120's. ( I didn't read #4 but the engine sounds smooth) The guage instructions note that high compression may be sludge or build up in the engine. Does that sound about right? Anyone have experience with something like this? Is it possible that the engine was rebuilt for a stronger compression? I'll be sure to stay away from the Sea Foam for the time being. Thanks.

On a side note, is an oil bubbler worth much in way of $$$, the car has one and I'm thinking I'd rather just run the car stock. It also has a engine block pre-heater thing with a plug and I'm not even sure if I know where or how one would remove it? It ran in Montana, I figure someone up north would like something like this.
