Time for an update 200 1992

Yeah, and that's another thing - all of the black painted chrome trim collects wax, unlike the chrome. Looks crazy ugly.

My emblems on the back are also black! They had a little bit of the chrome plating left when I got the car so I just rubbed the rest off. I mean, what the hell? The original emblems are chromed aluminum! Serious. I took the old '82 GL and removed the chrome, then mirror polished the aluminum. Mine? Black plastic. Crazy, man. All the goobers who like the flat-black, blacked-out, super-high-tech plastic-fantastic ultra-modern look would love my '93, but I think I'd rather have an old GL dripping with chrome. Heck, I've seen people on Turbobricks purposely take flat black spray paint to nearly every piece of trim on their car to hide the chrome. I don't get it...must be something they saw in Fast and the Furious.
