The info is out there, use google to find others who have done it. Harvey who posts here has done a very good looking B23 in to a 142, I didn't look too hard at how he did it because I'm not a fan of Volvo's SOHC engines. Basically, you need to decide what gearbox you are using, then it's just a matter of fabricating the engine & gearbox mounts, etc. I'd guess a T5 would be the box to use, the 240/740 manual boxes all have very poor ratios.
