'82 Turbo sway bars ? 200 1990

Could someone please inform me how to tell the diameter of the sways? I'm looking for a set of F/R Turbo sways to replace the stock ones on my '90 244. A local dude says he has a pair off an '82 Turbo. From my research on the forum here, it looks like they should be 23mm F and 21mm R from that year. Is it stamped on the bar, or should I bring my tape measure, to judge the size and if they are actually legit from a Turbo, or he is scamming me? Also, I assume to ask for the bushings and clamps along with them, if possible. What's a going price I should pay? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance!
