M46 rear oil seal removal 200 1982

I must replace the rear oil seal on my m46 transmission very soon. I do not seem to reach any article with the search button.

I do not have the specific puller to remove the old seal.

Can I remove it with a screw driver or other tool? I could make some tool to slide behind the old seal but it would be hard to make one that pull at two places.

Should I use some ''Permatex high tack spray a gasket'' on the new seal before sliding it in? I do not have the appropriate tool for that either but i will push it slowly and as evenly as possible with a hammer.

Am I opening a can of worm?
