new but about ACC 700 1987

Hi
I've been browsing a while and got some great info on my 1987 740 turbo wagon.
At the moment i'm trying to sort out the Climate control.

Here's what is happening.
The unit works fine when the car is started and warms up at idle.
But as soon as the car has gone on boost the unit will only give me full fan vents and A/C. It will not revert back to heat or the fan slow till I shut the car down.

I've checked the Vacuum lines and valves all seem good.
The only thing I have found that is abnormal is there is no sensor on the control unit 2 wires have been cut . Seems to have been removed. I have checked the other sensors they seem fine according to the limited info I have on them (Hanyes and Mitchell).
I'm at a loss to chase down an electrical or vacum problem.

Thanks Nick
