Back to Chrome 200

Thanks, that pretty much rules out the trim around windshields. Unless I just silicone it on...that would probably be a big mistake though.

I prefer chrome trim, actually, but if the black hadn't been chipping I would have left it alone. The fact is, bare metals like aluminum and stainless steel are far far more durable than the paint over top of them. This 24 year old GL I've got has bare metal trim, a little steel wool and polishing makes it look like new again.

Maybe one day I'll decide to re-black the trim (and do it the right way) but for now, black car and chrome trim seems right to me.
