When did the 200's get the 3sp + OD transmissions?

My 1979 245DL (now in Volvo Valhalla) had the slide switch on the shifter for a 3 spd + O/D tranny. I don't know if the tranny was a AW-xx or a BW-xx.

The BW-xx was Borg-Warner. It became Asin-Warner.
