new but about ACC 700 1987

Sorry to say, I think that sensor in the control panel is critical. My 86 760 that I just got this summer was blowing only all cold air out the floor vents when I got it. Found the vacuum line at the heater valve disconnected. Then all hot air only. After a lot of poking around and finding nothing, I went to put it all back together and found out the control panel sensor (2 white wires plugging into a 4-prong connector with 2 other wires) was plugged in backwards.

Everything worked fine when I reconnected it. If unplugged or plugged in backwards, I would get no response to changes in the climate controls except for "off" or defrost. Good luck.
