Parked Volvos 700 1987

Hey all,

I saw two distressed but otherwise clean 1987 744T Volvos abandoned on the roadside in Charlotte, NC this weekend. Of course a note was left on the windshield of each listing my abundance of parts and limited know how if anyone was needy. What concerns me is the number of women with small children driving what they think to be a reliable second hand automobile when these volumous pages of posts would indicate that most of the reliability of a Volvo turbo is gone with the first owner, and that unless they have a mechanic in the family or a large bank account, a used non-turbo is the better choice.

Regards,
