Oil leak 900 1993

I have a leak coming from the front exhaust manifold side of an I6 engine in a '93 960. It appears to be from under the manifold. I believe it to be a blown head gasket which I have no problem changing but, since I have never changed one on a liquid coold engine, am looking for any pointers you boys might have for me.

Also, on another thread here, I read something about an excessive amount of smoke coming from the oil cap/dipstick. I was wondering what that means and if I am going to want to delve a bit deeper into the engine?
