starting has a problem 200 1992

I was asking if anyone has had a similar starting problem. This wagon is an automatic and starts fine with the car in park , but then stalls as soon as you shift into drive or reverse. Then it will start again after you shift into park or neutral and keep running after shifting into rev. or drive. I have not seen this type of problem before.
