Maybe head gasket. Hope not.

Another possibility is the two small hoses going from engine into firewall to feed the heater core. On driver's side, hard to see below all the intake stuff.

Look for an ugly slimy mess in that area, below the intake stuff, near the auto tranny (if you have one) dipstick.

The hoses flex when engine rocks on the mounts from acceleration/decceleration.

So you will get leaking/not leaking depending on how the hose gets flexed.

If not there, then I hope someone else comes up with some other idea other than the head gasket.
