What's the first thing to go on the steering? 200 1990

I've done, brakes (MC, junction box, rotors, calipers), suspension (shocks, struts, bushings, tie rods, ball joints, etc), fuel(pump, 02 sensor, FPR, etc.) I've taken care of the driveshaft (rubber grommet, U-joints), lots of other stuff, but I've never done anything to the steering except for inner and outer tie rods. I'm getting worried that since that's the only major system I haven't worked on I'm due for a problem. What should I look for? What parts on the steering are first to go. Thank you all.

Still got her going at $165,000. Albeit with the CE light on for the past 15,000 or so.
