Little help with tach install and glove box lock install

Your guess at the wiring sounds good.

Wire to ground needed for tach and light.

The wire for light can be side tapped onto any wire to a nearby lamp.

The wire for tach signal, look for a loose wire behind the cluster having an insulated female space connector. Many years the wire was red and white. It is the signal for the tach, from the coil.

Good Luck,

Bob
