Short somewhere on 1994 940 900 1994

I have a short somewhere in my car and I can't seem to locate it. My fuse panel is located directly behind the ashtray and slot #5 continues to blow. Its the vanity lights (doors, ceiling, visors) AND the door ring noise when the door is open. i wouldnt mind so much with the fuse blown, however the only catch is that when the fuse blows the door ring noise contiues to ring even after the door is closed. this is very frustrating. does anyone know what might be a common short along this line? or how i should trace it?? i have a feeling its the back door lights, i'm thinking about just cutting them. any ideas, i really appreciate any advice. maybe someone can recommend a good shop in the NYC area that might be able to help. THANKS SO MUCH. I have to get that ringing noise out of my head.
