ok, next step... 200

so I think I have the 89 240 ready to be fired up after sitting for 8 moonths. I assume the gas is probably bad in it and i don't want to mess it up more. Any Ideas on this? or am i just paranoid about the quality of gas these days? And what would be the best way to remove it if that is indeed needed? there are only a few gallons in the tank, so siphoning or is there a drain that is better? what about the gas in the system? is there an easy way to drain it as well? keep in mind tyhat the car is in my work lot and some of my resources are limited (no air compressors, power outlets, ect)
thanks
