Sven - I sent you an email but for some reason it didnt go through so I will post on the BB
I have 3 questions:
Do I need to remove the lower TB Cover to line up the marks or check them on the bottom 2 pulleys? I do not see how I can see the marks without removing but nowhere I read says to remove.
When you say crankshaft pulley (lowest - largest) you mean of the 2 pulleys below its the larger of the 2 pulleys in the lower timing cover just above the fixed crank pulley?
Someone suggsted I do a spark plug test which I did. I removed the #1 plug, closest to the radiator (hopefully #1) and connected the tip to the plug wire. I then put the fatter firing end on the engine block and had my wife turn the car over and I had nothing happen. No spark at all. I also removed the coil wire from the center of the distibutor and had her crank the motor and saw spark but it was not very strong or steady. Im assuming I am getting no spark. Wwhat could this be and what should I check.
Could the radio relay be the problem?
