alternator conversion??????? 444-544

I converted my 64 B1800 about 2 years ago to a 1 wire GM. I did have some initial problems with the pivot bolt breaking from vibration because I made a bracket to fit the engine and bolted it solid. Solved that problem by using the original Generator bracket and welding ears on it for the alternator and making the top adjustment arm that used the rubber from the original arm. 10,000 miles and no problems, and I do have those Xenon(?)headlights. I have a custom inst panel and the indicated voltage drops about 1 volt with the headlights on. I think I have pictures If you are interested.
