missing vacuum connection 200 1984

While looking for the cause of my 240 running rich, I discovered one of the vacuum connections from the intake manifold is not connected to anything. The hose is about a foot long, runs from the nipple that's closest to the firewall and lowest toward the ground. It goes down between the middle two intake ports, but when feeling around under there, I couldn't find a anything with an open vacuum port on it.

Any thoughts? Is there a vacuum diagram posted somewhere? Perhaps in my manual, I know, but that's packed and almost impossible to get to at present.

Thanks!

Alex
