240 drivability issue 200 1992

Hi all, I am a proud owner of a 1992 240 that has been acting up lately. The issue is idling/acceleration. The problem has been intermittent, in fact at times was going two or three weeks where it ran perfect but now has got to the point where it’s almost constant. The issue is when you start the car it wants to stall, forcing you to "two foot" it with the gas and brake to keep it running until you’re moving. And just recently the problem also involves when you slow down (almost to a stop) that it needs coaxing with the gas pedal to get it up and moving again. It reminds me of the past, when you had a bad accelerator pump on a Holley carburetor, that’s exactly what it feels like. Also, I've noticed that when the fuel tank is down to its last few gallons it won't start unless you crank, let off and then crank again. So, I don't know if that issue is related or not. Whether, air or engine temp have no bearing on the problem. Tune-up parts are within last 12 months ie; plugs, wires, cap, rotor etc. & I just replaced the fuel filter. Gas mileage and drivability once she's up to speed are not affected, (that I can notice anyway). On a low budget here and need her for my daily 50 mile commute so any ideas are well appreciated. Thanks
